Rian Madden is a 13-year infantry veteran of the United States Marine Corps, with five combat deployments across Iraq and Afghanistan. Four of those years were spent in instructor and operations management roles. Following his military service, Rian spent two years working overseas as a high threat protection contractor before transitioning into law enforcement — where he served seven years across city and federal agencies as officer, field training officer, sergeant, captain, and deputy chief of police.

He holds a Bachelor's degree in Management from George Fox University and an MBA from Eastern University.

Rian didn't come to coaching from a desk. He came from twenty years of fixing young Marines' budgets, guiding officers through the missteps that come with high-overtime careers, and living through — and sometimes committing — every financial blunder in the book.
